1) DNA is not merely a molecule with a pattern; it is a code, a language, and an information storage mechanism.

2) All codes are created by a conscious mind; there is no natural process known to science that creates coded information.

3) Therefore DNA was designed by a mind.

The burden of proof is upon you. You have this three-part claim:

(i) information in DNA molecules is “better explained” by the existence of some transcendental mind than by evolution through natural selection

(ii) such a mind actually exists

(iii) that mind is the abrahamic-god-thing

OK, genius, prove these things. At least prove their truth is more likely than their falsehood. Remember that even the most attractive theories can quickly turn out to be false.

I politely remind you that human consciousness is the product of evolution. Unless, of course, you prefer to see the hand of the abrahamic-god-thing tinkering with everything, including the evolution of consciousness. That attitude, however, is not science, but wishful thinking.
